LE SSERAFIM surprised fans on July 6th by releasing an English version of their song ‘Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife.’
‘Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife (English Ver.)’ is the group’s first English song since their debut. The track is included in their 1st Studio Album ‘UNFORGIVEN’.
The title track of the same name which features legendary producer Nile Rodgers of the disco band Chic gained immense popularity for its catchy rhythm.
Huh Yun Jin had teased the song’s release by sharing a picture of the song’s lyrics via her personal Instagram account along with a few selfies as well. The lyrics of the original song were translated from Korean to English by member Huh Yun Jin.
A remix version of the original song also features verses by South Korean rappers BIBI, Mirani, and CAMO as well. The theme of the song is based on ‘I wish for what’s forbidden’ incorporating a Jersey club style rhythm, the members express their feelings of going after what they want even though it might be forbidden by being fearless.
In related news, Le Sserafim are all set to go on their tour titled Flame Rises. The members will kickstart their tour in Seoul on August 12th and 13th respectively, at Jamsil Indoor Arena.
