‘Golden’ makes a historic win at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards!
On February 1, the mega-hit chart-topper ‘Golden’ by the fictional girl group HUNTR/X from ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, featuring vocals by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami won a Grammy in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

The award was presented during the pre-telecast portion of the ceremony at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and was received by the team members in attendance which included EJAE, Park Hong Jun (Teddy), Kwak Joong Gyu, Lee Yu Han, Nam Hee Dong, Jeong Hoon Seo and Mark Sonnenblick.
This award marks the first GRAMMY ever presented to a K-Pop song, making this a major milestone for the industry and a historic moment in K-Pop history. The chart-topping song was also nominated for two other categories including Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, while David Guetta’s remix of ‘Golden’ earned a nomination for Best Remixed Recording. The film’s complete soundtrack was also nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, bringing the total GRAMMY nominations to five.
Beyond the GRAMMYS, ‘Golden’ and ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ have also received two Oscar nominations for the upcoming 98th Academy Awards, in the categories of Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature, respectively.
