KISS OF LIFE will no longer be performing at KCON LA.
On May 17, the organizers of KCON announced that S2 Entertainment’s girl group KISS OF LIFE will not perform at this year’s KCON LA. They added that the decision was made mutually with the agency, stating, “Regrettably, after careful consideration and thorough discussions exploring all avenues for participation, KCON and S2 Entertainment have mutually decided that KISS OF LIFE will no longer be participating in KCON LA 2025.” The organizers also apologized for the disappointing news and promised to bring better activities for fans to enjoy in the future.

While a concrete reason for the withdrawal hasn’t been revealed, fans speculate that the decision was made due to the controversy that arose from a birthday livestream that was deemed culturally and racially insensitive.
Meanwhile, KISS OF LIFE is set to hold an encore concert in Seoul for their 2025 KISS OF LIFE 1st WORLD TOUR [KISS ROAD], with shows on July 19 and 20.
