Kim Woojin Makes His Solo Debut And Is ‘Ready Now’ To Set His Mark

After teasing his fans with a pre-debut single and winning hearts with it, Kim Woojin has officially made his solo debut under 10x Entertainment with his debut mini album, ‘The moment: 未成年, a minor’ and he is ‘Ready Now.’

Woojin’s solo debut album, ‘The moment: 未成年, a minor’ has 6 songs and he has co-written every track.  Each track telling its own story and mirroring his thoughts to the world. ‘Ready Now’ was pre-released a day prior to the album release and serves as the lead single. He had earlier released, ‘Still Dream’ as a pre-debut single.

If ‘Still Dream’ made it’s way to your playlist then ‘Ready Now’ is going to be your new favorite.  Kim Woojin makes sure that his fans get to see his bare sides as he sings about what he went through and the affect that it had on him, while also assuring them that he is ‘Ready Now’ to face the world. With his debut album, the idol continues to show his strong vocals while portraying deep emotions and also executing great choreography. Both the music videos has its own distinct shades, with common elements of Black, Blue and White, perhaps as an indication of his emotions and past experiences.

‘Still Dream’ is a song of hope and a beam of light as Woojin sings about how he still continues to dream even if it is dark.

Countless darkness that chase me| Even if it’ll wet my two wings| Fly, further I Go

And in ‘Ready Now’, although the artist sings about all the things that he has gone through, he seems to have gained a new perspective and strength and thus shares how despite of him being anxious and scared, he is still ready to take one more step so that he can restart.

With this song, as Woojin breaks through and gains control, he further assures his fans that even though at times, things does weigh him down, he is now ‘ready’ to move forward as long as its together with “cubs.”

Let’s face it together
I’m ready now (Hey, hey)
I’m ready now, it’s the end
The painful times
I will end this gloriously
Cause I’m ready, It’s the end

Woojin also hopes that with the new start he can smile and urges to move forward to a brighter day and a new beginning.

I’m ready now, let’s begin
Ready for another start
Bright Sun of tomorrow
‘Cause I’m ready, let’s begin

‘The moment: 未成年, a minor’  is now out on all streaming platforms.
