As reported by STARNEWS on 14th February, Kim Ji Won is in talks to star in an upcoming medical drama, ‘Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia’ (literal translation).
In response to the report, her agency, HighZium Studio, stated, “Kim Ji Won is positively reviewing the offer to star in ‘Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia.’”
The drama follows the story of Gye Soo Jung (Kim Ji Won), a genius surgeon with a dark past who takes the underworld by storm with her brilliant surgical skills.
It has been reported that the filming for this drama will begin in the second half of 2025, with the show expected to air on SBS.
Kim Ji Won has proven her versatility through her performances in renowned dramas such as ‘Fight for My Way,’ ‘Arthdal Chronicles,’ ‘Lovestruck in the City,’ ‘My Liberation Notes’ and many more.
After her fantastic portrayal as a billionaire heiress Hong Hae In in the popular Netflix K-drama ‘Queen of Tears,’ fans are all geared up to see her portrayal of prodigious surgeon Gye Soo Jung in this upcoming medical drama.
