Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jong Won Confirmed to Star in New Horror Film
On April 15, Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jong Won were confirmed to star in the upcoming horror film ‘Salmokji’ (working title).
‘Salmokji’ follows the story of Soo In (played by Kim Hye Yoon), who encounters strange and eerie occurrences during a business trip to a remote reservoir. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she crosses paths with Ki Tae (played by Lee Jong Won), and together, they uncover chilling secrets hidden beneath the still waters. This marks Lee Jong Won’s first lead role in a commercial film, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Lee Sang Min, Salmokji is produced by The Lamp, the company behind acclaimed works such as ‘A Taxi Driver’ and ‘Samjin Group English TOEIC Class’. With a strong creative team and an intriguing premise, expectations are high for this upcoming horror release.
Filming for ‘Salmokji’ is scheduled to begin in May 2025, with more details about its release to follow.
