Kang Tae Oh and Kim Sejeong will be greeting their fans in a new historical drama in 2025!
MBC recently revealed its 2025 drama lineup, and confirmed that actors Kang Tae Oh and Kim Sejeong will be a part of their upcoming historical drama, ‘The Moon Flows in This River’ (working title).
The drama follows the romance of a dejected crown prince, Lee Kang, and a common woman, Park Dal Yi, with no recollection of her past.
Kang Tae Oh will essay the character of Lee Kang, the prince who sacrificed his happiness to avenge his lost queen. Sejeong will play the role of Dal Yi, a woman who resembles the crown prince’s deceased queen and a common woman. Right as he is about to exact his revenge, Lee Kang encounters Dal Yi, and their bodies switch, leading to total chaos.
‘The Moon Flows in This River’ will be Kim Sejeong’s first historical drama. The actor is well known for her romantic comedies like ‘Business Proposal’ and ‘Today’s Webtoon’ as well as the paranormal action series ‘The Uncanny Counter’ and ‘The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch’.
Kang Tae Oh gained acclaim through his role in the ENA drama ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’. He is also known for his roles in dramas like ‘Run On,’ ‘Doom at Your Service’ and ‘The Tale of Nokdu’.
‘The Moon Flows in This River’ is set to premiere in the second half of 2025.
