On March 31, Kang Dong Won, Um Tae Goo, Park Ji Hyun, and Oh Jung Se were confirmed to lead the upcoming comedy film ‘Wild Thing’ (working title).
‘Wild Thing’ follows Triangle, a once-popular co-ed trio whose career plummeted after a major setback. Years later, now living vastly different lives, the group gets a chance to reunite for a long-overdue comeback.
Kang Dong Won plays Hyun Woo, Triangle’s former leader and ace dancer, who now lingers around broadcast stations, hoping for a fresh opportunity. Um Tae Goo portrays Sang Gu, the group’s passionate but unpolished rapper, whose unwavering confidence often leads to amusing situations. Park Ji Hyun takes on the role of Do Mi, the lead vocalist and center of Triangle, bringing a mix of charisma and resilience to the group. Oh Jung Se rounds out the cast as Sung Gon, a ballad singer who was constantly overshadowed by Triangle, setting up sharp comedic tensions.
Directed by Son Jae Gon and produced by About Film, ‘Wild Thing’ promises to deliver top-tier entertainment with its fresh humor and dynamic cast. While the exact release date has not yet been announced, the filming for the movie began on March 30.
