First-generation K-Pop group Baby V.O.X made a long-awaited return to the stage after 14 long years!
On December 20, one of the OG girl groups, Baby V.O.X, performed at the ‘2024 KBS Song Festival’, taking fans back to the 90s K-Pop era. This was the first time all five group members reunited to perform in 14 years.
Baby V.O.X was a five-member group comprising Kim E-Z, Lee Hee Jin, Kan Mi Youn, Shim Eun Jin, and Yoon Eun Hye. The group performed two iconic hits ‘Get Up‘ and ‘Coincidence‘, captivating the audience with their flawless chemistry and timeless charm.
Baby V.O.X’s performance was made even more special due to the presence of Yoon Eun Hye, putting an end to years of rumors about discord between the members. In an interview following the performance, Yoon Eun Hye shared, “We’ve spent nights practicing together for two weeks but I think I am going to miss the members after today.” Her dedication to the reunion was evident, as she worked tirelessly to perfect the choreography and her vocals. Kan Mi Youn also added, “Thanks to the KBS Song Festival, we were able to have a good time with one another, laughing, crying, and practicing together.”
In a surprising twist, Baby V.O.X joined KISS OF LIFE for a collaborative performance of their hit number ‘Killer’. This performance transcended generations and celebrated the legacy of Baby V.O.X.
Baby V.O.X’s reunion showed the lasting charm of first-generation K-Pop, reminding fans of their beginnings and raising hopes for more performances from the iconic group.
