‘Spring of Youth’ is a 2025 SBS musical comedy youth romance drama starring AxMxP’s Ha Yoo Joon, Park Ji Hu, N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub, and Seo Hye Won.
The story follows Sa Gye (played by Ha Yoo Joon), a famous K-pop idol from the group ‘The Crown’ under Jo&Jo Entertainment. After a sudden mishap, Sa Gye is kicked out of the group and becomes a fallen idol. Starting over as a college student, he unexpectedly finds his fate and rediscovers his passion for music by forming a campus band with his new bandmates.
The drama explores themes of second chances, life after scandal, rediscovering oneself beyond the spotlight, and healing through music.

The Plot

Apart from music and romance, ‘Spring of Youth’ also follows an intriguing plot. As a teenager, Sa Gye undergoes a cornea transplant due to an accident during his trainee days. Jo Sang Heon played by Jo Han Chul , the CEO of Jo&Jo Entertainment, has since been a fatherly figure to Sa Gye, always supporting him and his group’s growth. However, during a party, a drunk Sa Gye accidentally pushes Jo Sang Heon down the stairs, and the incident is caught on video, quickly spreading online and leading to Sa Gye being kicked out of the agency.
Leaving behind his glamorous life as a star, Sa Gye begins a fresh chapter at university, where fate brings him together with Kim Bom, played by Park Ji Hu,through fate and a mysterious connection. After facing countless challenges and overcoming numerous obstacles, Sa Gye finally finds his place alongside Kim Bom. Together with Seo Tae Yang (Lee Seung Hyub), Bae Gyu Ri (Seo Hye Won), and Gong Jin Gu (Kim Sun Min), they form a campus band called ‘Two Sagye’.
Furious that his past deeds might be exposed, Jo Sang Heon does everything he can to destroy ‘Two Sagye’ at any cost. Meanwhile, Seo Tae Yang, caught between love and rivalry competes with Sa Gye both physically and musically. With the help of his father, Seo Min Cheol played by Kim Jong Tae —who has a secret tie with CEO Jo Sang Heon—Seo Tae Yang takes his place in ‘The Crown’, escalating the tension even further.

Sa Gye is a member of a famous K-pop group but is forced to leave due to a scandal. This leads him to enroll at Hanju University, where he forms his own band. Over time, he begins to uncover the true nature of CEO Jo Sang Heon, all while protecting Kim Bom and facing numerous challenges
Kim Bom (Played by Park Ji Hu)

Kim Bom is a gifted composer and music student who gave up her dreams after her mother passed away, carrying the pain with her. Together with Sa Gye, she forms a campus band, taking on the role of songwriter, keyboard player, and vocalist. However, her song is stolen by Georgina, played by Han Yoo Eun, CEO Jo Sang Heon’s daughter. Kim Bom struggles through her own battles until she meets Sa Gye, who has a mysterious past connected to her mother

Seo Tae Yang, son of Kim Jong Tae, is a medical student who has a strong interest in music and is Kim Bom’s best friend, secretly harboring feelings for her. A living legend on campus, he became the head of the band club as a freshman, admired for his exceptional skill and dedication.

Jo Sang Heon is the CEO of JO&JO Entertainment, who formed the group ‘The Crown,’ bringing Sa Gye in as the final member and leading the group to success. However, he hides a mysterious past. After a certain incident, Sa Gye begins to question Jo Sang Heon about everything, including their connection, leading up to a major revelation.
