BTS’ Jungkook is on a roll, breaking records on Spotify!
His debut solo album, ‘GOLDEN’, has jumped four spots to #33 on the ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart, marking its 46th consecutive week on the chart. This impressive feat extends his record as the longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist in history.
Furthermore, Jungkook also dominates the Weekly Top Songs Global chart with two entries: his solo single ‘Seven’ at #48 and the title track ‘Standing Next to You’ at number #122. This showcases his strong presence as a global pop star with ‘Seven’ and ‘Standing Next to You’ which have been charting for 62 weeks and 45 weeks, respectively. He’s also the first K-pop solo artist to have multiple songs surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify for ‘Seven’ and ‘Left and Right’, securing their place in the Billions Club playlist.
Jungkook’s achievements extend beyond these figures. He now boasts 16 songs with over 100 million streams, including popular solo tracks such as ‘Euphoria’ and ‘My You’. His record-breaking success on a global platform underscores his stature as one of the most influential artists in K-pop.
