On April 24 at midnight KST, solo artist Jeon Somi delighted her fans with a heartwarming announcement as she officially revealed the name of her fandom: ‘SOMMUNCHI’. Just a few hours after the fandom name was unveiled, her agency, THEBLACKLABEL, followed up with more exciting news— the announcement of her very first fan meeting tour, ‘JEON SOMI 2025 FAN MEETING [CHAOS]’.

Somi’s fan meeting tour will begin on July 19 in Seoul at Hyundai Card UNDERSTAGE, before heading to Tokyo’s Tachikawa Stage Garden on August 1, and wrapping up on August 3 at NHK Osaka Hall in Osaka.

‘SOMMUNCHI’ is a heartfelt blend of ‘Somi’ and the Korean word ‘munchi’ (문치), meaning bundle or unite. It’s also a clever nod to the Korean word ‘som’ (솜), which means cotton fluff. Together, the name encapsulates a message: soft and cozy like cotton, but powerful and united when together.
In tandem with the fandom name reveal and fan meeting, Somi also unveiled her official fan light stick. Designed to reflect her bold and playful personality, the light stick will give fans a fun and dynamic way to show their support during concerts and events, creating a vibrant and synchronized atmosphere.
