Just two months after making their highly anticipated comeback, K-pop girl group izna is already preparing for a summer return.
On May 16, WAKEONE confirmed the news, stating, “izna is preparing for a June comeback and is currently focusing on working on their new album.”
Formed through Mnet’s survival audition show ‘I-LAND 2’, izna officially entered the music scene with their debut mini-album, ‘N/a’, and its title track ‘IZNA’ in November 2024. Their first digital single, ‘SIGN’, released on March 31, 2025, was a breakout hit, earning two music show wins and charting high both domestically and internationally. Thanks to their strong stage presence and polished performances, they’ve quickly been recognized as global super rookies.
izna’s presence on the international stage also continues to expand, with confirmed performances at major events including ‘KCON LA 2025’, Japan’s ‘Summer Sonic’, and ‘KT POP 2025’ in Taiwan. This follows their recent successful appearance at ‘KCON JAPAN 2025’, where the group impressed fans with their versatility and charisma.
However, member Yoon Jiyoon will not be participating in the comeback due to a health-related hiatus. WAKEONE addressed the matter briefly, stating, “She will not be participating in this round of activities.”
With a strong debut, international acclaim under their belt, and global stages ahead, excitement remains high as anticipation builds for what izna has in store next. Their comeback is expected to further solidify their status as one of K-pop’s most promising new acts.
