On October 14, IU dropped the official lyric teaser for her upcoming new digital single ‘strawberry moon’ on her Twitter account.
Beginning with a slight mysterious vibe, followed by the piano and concluded with the beautiful vocal of the artist, the teaser instantly burrows in the heart of the listener. In the teaser we see the artist within a room which seems like a bedroom and being transported to somewhere by a mysterious and magical aurora. The teaser is covered in this pinkish hue indicating the color of the ‘strawberry moon’.

Previously the artist released an image teaser which saw actor Lee Jong Won along with the artist seated in a theater. Recently in an interview when asked about the song, the soloist and the model for Elle Korea’s latest cover said, “I wanted to make a very easy song. I hoped it would be a song that didn’t make anyone think too much or feel sad when they heard it. I wish that this single will be enjoyed by the fans in a very comfortable way.”
‘strawberry moon’ will be released on September 19, midnight KST (8:30 IST).
