IU announces her return with ‘Flower Bookmark 3’.
On May 15 at midnight KST, IU unveiled the album teaser and cover image, marking her first ‘Flower Bookmark’ album in eight years, since ‘Flower Bookmark 2’ in 2017. This also marks her first comeback in almost a year and a half, following the release of ‘The Winning’ in February 2024.

IU’s ‘Flower Bookmark’ album series, which began in 2014, features her heartfelt reinterpretations of classic Korean songs. The newly revealed album cover shows IU leaning against an old public phone, evoking a sense of longing and nostalgia. In the teaser video, a voice message from IU plays through a vintage phone booth, hinting at the emotional tone of the album.
Adding to the anticipation, it has been confirmed that ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will make a special appearance in the upcoming music video, sparking even more excitement among fans.
This musical comeback follows IU’s performance in the global Netflix hit ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’. As she continues filming ‘Wife of a 21st Century Prince’ alongside Byeon Woo Seok, IU once again proves she’s a force to be reckoned with, in both music and acting.
‘Flower Bookmark 3’ is set to release on May 27 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
