INFINITE’s Kim Sung Kyu To Miss Malaysia Concert Following Personal Loss

INFINITE’s Kim Sung Kyu will be sitting out the group’s 15th-anniversary concert in Kuala Lumpur.

On February 22, INFINITE Company confirmed that member Kim Sung Kyu will no longer be participating in INFINITE’s 15th-anniversary concert, ‘LIMITED EDITION,’ set to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, later that day. The company had initially stated that it was due to “unforeseen personal circumstances” but later revealed that Kim Sung Kyu’s sister had passed away. In a statement released on social media, the company said, “After battling illness, Kim Sung Kyu’s older sister passed away this morning (February 22). We ask for your consolation and consideration so that Kim Sung Kyu and the bereaved family members can spend time mourning together.”

Kim Sung Kyu’s agency, BILLIONS, also released a similar statement, asking fans for their consideration and expressing condolences.
