Im Soo Jung may be appearing in a new thriller drama.
On April 10, Im Soo Jung’s agency, MYM Entertainment, revealed that the actress is currently in talks to star in the upcoming drama ‘How to Be a Landlord in South Korea’ (literal title), stating, “She has received an offer and is reviewing it.”
‘How to Be a Landlord in South Korea’ is an upcoming thriller about a financially burdened landlord who becomes entangled in crime in a desperate bid to protect his family and property. As he finally attains his dream of becoming a landlord, overwhelming debt forces him to orchestrate a fake kidnapping. However, the plan quickly spirals beyond his control when the fabricated abduction begins to unfold in terrifyingly real ways.
Actor Ha Jung Woo has already been confirmed for the lead role, while Krystal is reportedly in discussions to join the cast. If Im Soo Jung takes on the role, she will portray the wife of Ha Jung Woo’s character. Meanwhile, the actress is also set to appear in ‘Low Life,’ an upcoming Disney+ drama scheduled to release later this year.
