‘I-LAND 2’ To Form A New Project Group In Partnership With H1GHR MUSIC

Mnet’s ‘I-LAND2’ is set to form a new project group in partnership with H1GHR MUSIC.

On August 28, multiple music industry insiders reported that following the successful formation of izna, a new project group will be formed featuring participants of ‘I-LAND 2’. Some of the participants who were not selected for the final debut lineup will be a part of this new group. Additionally, the new group will be distinct from the debut group, izna.

Furthermore, Joy News 24 reported that the management of the new project group will be handled by H1GHR MUSIC.

This is not the first time when a spin-off group has been formed after the successful completion of an audition program. Previously, ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ saw the formation of the debut group Wanna One, as well as additional groups JBJ and Rainz. Similarly, at the end of ‘Boy Planet,’ ZEROBASEONE was formed, and some of the unselected participants made up the group EVNNE. In the same vein, through ‘I-LAND 2’, a new project team will be formed alongside izna, allowing them to showcase different musical styles.

Concerning this, a CJ ENM representative made an official statement to Joy News 24 on the 28th, stating, “We are carefully reviewing various strategies to actively support the future activities of participants from ‘I-LAND 2’.”
