HYOLYN is back with a new summer anthem!
On July 15 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), HYOLYN unveiled her new digital single ‘YOU AND I’, marking her long-awaited comeback after nearly a year. Released through major music platforms and her official YouTube channel, the track kicks off a fresh chapter under her self-founded label, ReH Entertainment.
‘YOU AND I’ is a rhythmic love letter layered with Afrobeat percussion, sensual melodies, and raw emotion. Written by HYOLYN and co-composed by HYOLYN, Melanie Fontana, GG Ramirez, and Lindgren, the song conveys a message of warmth: “You are always a shining presence to me, I hope we can always be together.” Stepping away from her signature powerhouse vocals, HYOLYN leans into a more stripped-down, soulful tone, revealing the most “HYOLYN-like” version of herself yet.
The music video, shot like a personal travel documentary, captures HYOLYN’s unfiltered moments in nature, dancing freely under the sunlight. With its visual intimacy and radiant energy, the video perfectly mirrors the emotional depth of the track, like sipping a cool drink in the summer shade.
In addition to her comeback, HYOLYN is set to appear as a master on Mnet’s ‘BOYS II PLANET’, premiering July 17, and will hold a special guerrilla fan signing event at COEX in Seoul on July 19 to celebrate her comeback.
