HYBE AMERICA collaborates with Alan Chikin Chow to form a new label and group.
On April 4, HYBE AMERICA announced its groundbreaking collaboration with Alan Chikin Chow, the creator behind the globally popular YouTube channel ‘Alan’s Universe,’ to establish a new label, HYBE AMERICA X AU, which is set to develop the next-generation pop group.

In an official statement, Chow said, “The passionate global fanbase of Alan’s Universe partnered with the premier music prowess of HYBE America creates an unstoppable force.” This strategic partnership is poised to blend dynamic digital storytelling with HYBE AMERICA’s renowned music expertise.
The first initiative under HYBE AMERICA X AU is a global audition campaign targeting aspiring artists aged 18 to 28, regardless of nationality, to create a co-ed group. Starting at midnight on April 4, participants can submit a YouTube Short of themselves singing or dancing using the hashtag #HYBEAMERICAxAU.
Selected talents will make their debut in a captivating drama series on the ‘Alan’s Universe’ YouTube channel, chronicling the journey of “a group of aspiring pop idol rejects enrolled at an arts academy who decide to form their own band.” Chow will executive produce the series alongside James Shin, President of HYBE AMERICA’s Film & Television division, and CEO Scooter Braun.
