NU’EST‘s Hwang Min Hyun is in talks to take the starring role in the upcoming webtoon-based drama ‘Study Group.’
‘Study Group‘ will tell the story of a student who wants to study well but is only talented with fighting skills. The drama will be based on the same-named webtoon.
Hwang Min Hyun was offered the role of Yoon Ga Min, the story’s lead character. In response to the casting rumors, Hwang Min Hyun’s agency Pledis Entertainment stated, “Hwang Min Hyun received the offer to star in the forthcoming K-drama. The actor is positively evaluating it.”
Hwang Minhyun appeared in the renowned tvN drama ‘Alchemy of Souls.‘ He debuted as the lead vocalist NU’EST in 2012 and made his solo album debut in 2023 with the release of ‘Hidden Side.’
The release date and the broadcast channel of the upcoming drama are yet to be confirmed.
