‘Harbin’ has made a smashing debut at the box office.
On December 25, the Korean Film Council reported that ‘Harbin’, released on December 24, had officially reached 1,001,074 viewers that afternoon. The news was further confirmed by CJ ENM Movie. This milestone was achieved within two days of its release, making ‘Harbin’ the fastest winter release to do so. The metric was calculated using the Korean Film Council’s integrated cinema ticket calculation network and is based on the cumulative number of viewers for the movie.

‘Harbin’ is a historical spy thriller set in 1909 that chronicles the lives of resistance fighters who are trying to end the Japanese occupation of Korea. The movie stars Hyun Bin in the lead role of Ahn Jung Geun. The other cast members include Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Dong Wook, Park Hoon, Yoo Jae Myung, and more.
