Youngjae is all set to make his solo return!
On June 27 KST, GOT7’s vocalist Youngjae thrilled fans with the announcement of his upcoming comeback with a digital single titled ‘Escape To Me’. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser image showcasing Youngjae standing in a field with his arms stretched, facing the opposite side of the camera, giving a very free-spirited and warm vibe.

Previously, during the 2025 GOT7 concert ‘NESTFEST’ in Bangkok, Youngjae surprised fans by performing the track for his solo stage. ‘Escape To Me’ is an alternative hip hop song with a mix of electric guitar, emotional piano, and break beat.
The track aims to convey a deeper energy with rock sound and lyrics that empower and push listeners to conquer fear and self-doubt. With his powerful vocals and comforting lyrics, the single will demonstrate Youngjae’s progress as a solo artist and his goal to create music that resonates with his fans.
‘Escape To Me’ marks his comeback after five months since the release of his digital single ‘starlight (From SHOW MUSICAL Dream High),’ which was released on January 10, 2025.
Following the comeback news, Youngjae is scheduled to release more content related to the digital single starting this upcoming Monday. The news has generated excitement among fans who have been waiting for the track’s official release.
Meanwhile, Youngjae, together with VIXX’s KEN, PENTAGON’s HUI, and LUCY’s Choi Sang Yeop, will release a track called ‘Old Song’ on June 29 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
‘Escape To Me’ will be dropping on July 9 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
