GOT7 JAYB JOINS H1GHER MUSIC + ANNOUNCES SINGLE FOR SOLO DEBUT

Amidst speculations over which company would the GOT7 Leader choose, the Ahgases finally have an answer.

 

Late March, there were speculations that GOT7 Leader, Jay B  is discussing an exclusive contract with Jay Park’s label, H1GHR MUSIC.  However in response, a source disclosed that, “Nothing has been decided in relation to recruiting GOT7’s Jay B.”

This rumors resurfaced when few days back, H1gher Music began to post videos and teasers and today, we finally have the confirmation.

Few minutes back it was confirmed that Jay B has joined H1GHER MUSIC. The company posted a video welcoming Jay B.

Jay Park as well, took to his social media to announce the signing in a fun way saying that there is now 2 Jae Bum while singing along to his hit song, ‘All I wanna Do’ with Jay B.  The two artist later went on a Instagram live once the news was out. Jay Park joked about being the GOT8 member and was joined by Yugyeom to congratulate Jay B.

Along with the official announcement of Jay B joining the company, it was also announced that Jay B will be releasing his single on May 14th at 6 PM KST, hence making his much anticipated solo debut.

Jay B debuted in 2012 via BS2’s “Dream High 2” and the duo JJ Project with Jinyoung. He debuted again in 2014 as a member of GOT7. Seven years later, the group left JYP Entertainment (@jypentertainment) following the expiration of their contracts but are continuing their promotional activities as a group and for their individual careers. Their first song after leaving JYPE as group is “ENCORE.” Jay B changed his stage name from JB, and even started a Twitter account and YouTube channels.

With JayB signing to H1gher Music, the wait is now over. Fellow member, Yugyeom @yugyeom is currently signed with AOMG which is also another label of Jay Park.

Recently Mark, who is back at Los Angeles signed with CAA and  Youngjae as well as Jackson’s label, TEAM WANG  is signed with Sublime Artist Agency.  Jinyoung has signed with BH Entertainment while BamBam joined Abyss Company

Congratulations to Jay B and Jay Park and all the GOT7 members.

As Jay B stated in one of his recent interviews, we hope that GOT7 comes back very soon as a group and  in the meanwhile we are very excited to follow the individual paths of all the members.
