Upcoming drama “Youth of May” unveils a warm poster, portraying good chemistry between the leads, Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si. It is scheduled to premiere on May 3, 9:30PM, KST. The drama is set in May 1980, that happens to be a historically significant time in Korea. The genre, apart from dealing with romance, also sheds light on the passion young adults carry. Lee Do Hyun will take up the role of Hwang Hee Tae, a medical student with a mischievous side but is determined and driven, on the inside. Go Min Si plays Kim Myung Hee, a nurse three years into her career who has suffered a number of hardships.
The production team stated, “As the setting is the 1980s when surviving through harsh reality was more important than romantic feelings, Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si’s youthful romance will be drawn out more emotionally,” and further asked viewers to anticipate how their love story will play out.
