K-pop girl group Queenz Eye has made a highly anticipated return to the music scene on August 7 with the release of their first mini-album, ‘PRISM EP.01.’ Featuring the upbeat title track ‘Feel the Vibe,’ the album offers a fresh take on their music, blending retro synth-punk with modern elements to create a vibrant and energizing experience.
‘PRISM EP.01’ marks the group’s first release as a six-member unit, following the addition of new members Seo Ha, Seo Vin, Jin Yul, and Kiirii, alongside original members Ah Yoon and Won Chae. The album showcases their evolution, delivering an optimistic and dynamic message of new beginnings.
In an exclusive chat with Namaste Hallyu, the six-member group talked about their journey as a reorganized group, their evolving dynamic, how each member contributes off-stage, and the lessons that have shaped their approach to music.

Namaste Hallyu: As Queenz Eye continues to grow and evolve, how has that journey influenced your team dynamic, and do you feel it’s shaping a new direction in the group’s sound?
Won Chae: We’ve definitely grown really close, since we’re always spending time together, and now the team members feel more like family than our real families. Because of this, naturally we want to do more performances and music together, and I think that’s led us to want to experiment with more diverse music.
NH: What role does each member play off-stage that fans might not see?
Seo Vin: We naturally assigned roles to each other. For example, during practice, the one who always turns on the music is Ah Yoon unnie, and I’m usually the one filming the monitor videos. When we’re in the car or stretching, the ones who are in charge of the playlist are Won Chae and Ah Yoon unnies. They are the DJs of our team.
NH: Seo Ha, Seo Vin, Jin Yul, and Kiirii—what went through your mind when you first found out you were joining Queenz Eye?
Kiirii: I was so excited and happy. I couldn’t believe that something I’d dreamed about my whole life was actually coming true. And now, it truly feels like it’s becoming real.
Seo Vin: Honestly, at first it didn’t even feel real. As a trainee, it was the first time I felt like I was really being recognized, so it was super emotional for me. I was just so thankful to be given the chance to keep chasing this dream, and at the same time, I felt a strong sense of responsibility and the need to work even harder. When I told my parents and saw them cry, I felt this overwhelming, exciting feeling I’d never experienced before. And, it would be a lie to say I didn’t feel any pressure about joining as a new member, but while I was preparing, all those worries and that pressure turned into motivation to do even better.
Jin Yul: When I first joined Queenz Eye, I couldn’t believe it and I was so, so happy. But at the same time, I was a little worried, like, can I really be part of this team? Will I be able to live up to everyone’s expectations?
Seo Ha: I was so excited, thankful, and happy at the thought of debuting with my unnies. But since my trainee period was pretty short and I still felt like I had a lot to work on. I was worried about standing out for the wrong reasons or not being able to keep up with Won Chae and Ah Yoon unnie who debuted before me. That’s why I felt like I had to work even harder.
NH: As artists, what’s one lesson you’ve learned that changed how you approach your craft?
Ah Yoon: I always think of what my rap teacher taught me. They told me I should practice listening to music by separating the vocals and the beat, so I can hear it from different perspectives. When I am creating music, I need to have a clear background story. So, I always keep these lessons in mind when I’m working on music.
NH: What’s one thing you wish more people knew about Queenz Eye?
Won Chae: There are so many things, but first of all, we’re cute! We’re really pretty! And we’re cool too! It’s our persistence and passion that never gives up. Honestly, I have this belief that no matter what comes our way, we’ll definitely make it happen someday. I think that confidence comes from our persistence and passion. So, I feel like every time we come back, we can show our fans a Queenz Eye that’s grown a little more with each comeback.
Queenz Eye expressed their desire to meet their Indian fans (I-Qs) one day.

Queenz Eye is back with our mini album ‘PRISM EP.01,’ and we hope you give it lots and lots of love. We’ll work hard during promotions, so please keep watching us till the end. I hope the day comes when we can meet you in person. Until then, stay healthy and keep loving us a lot!
