(G)-IDLE’s Minne is set to make her solo debut!
On December 3, Korean news outlet News1 released an exclusive report confirming that (G)I-DLE member Minnie will make her solo debut in January 2025.
Responding to the news, a representative from CUBE Entertainment confirmed, “Minnie is currently preparing her first solo album with the goal of releasing it in mid-January next year.”
According to reports, Minnie is fully involved in the production of her album, including song selection and creative processes, to showcase her unique style as a solo artist.
Her upcoming solo album is gaining a lot of attention as the news is coming right after (G)-IDLE’s contract renewal with CUBE Entertainment. While CUBE confirmed the group’s contract renewal on December 2, (G)-IDLE’s leader, Soyeon, first broke the news during their acceptance speech at the ‘Melon Music Awards 2024,’ when the group won ‘Record of the Year’.
Minnie made her debut as a main vocalist of (G)I-DLE in May 2018. She has been actively participating in writing and composing the group’s songs. The anticipation is quite high for the solo album, and fans expect to see her unique charm through her solo debut.
