K-pop girl group fromis_9 has retained its original name.
On March 27, fromis_9’s new agency, ASND, announced that Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon will continue promoting as fromis_9 after parting ways with PLEDIS Entertainment.
ASND shared that they recently concluded discussions with PLEDIS Entertainment, describing the outcome as a meaningful collaboration that reflects PLEDIS’s genuine support for the members’ future and ASND’s commitment. They further added, “With the ability to retain the name fromis_9, the foundation has been set for the musical growth of Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon. We are preparing new projects and performances to meet the fans. We ask for your warm interest and affection as fromis_9 embarks on its upcoming journey.”
