Indian K-Pop Fans Rejoice— EXO’s Suho is set to perform at the K-Wave Festival!
On September 4, the K-Wave Festival announced that EXO’s leader Suho will be joining as a headliner for the 2nd edition of the K-Wave Festival.

Suho, the leader of boy group EXO, and a soloist, is performing in India for the first time at the K-Wave Festival. Suho recently released his third solo mini-album ‘1 to 3’ on May 31. He made his debut as an EXO member in 2012 with the EP ‘Mama’. He made his solo debut in March 2020 with the EP ‘Self-Portrait’. Since his debut, Suho has also participated in the OSTs for popular dramas like ‘Bad Prosecutor’, ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ and ‘Missing Crown Prince.’
Apart from his musical endeavors, Suho is also known for his acting capabilities, most recently in the dramas ‘Missing Crown Prince’ and ‘Behind Your Touch’. He also made a cameo appearance on tvN’s ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ in 2023.
Incidentally, this is not Suho’s first visit to India. He previously visited Mumbai, India in 2015 for the KBS show ‘Exciting India.’ However, this would be the idol’s first time performing in the country.
The K-Wave Festival, which had great success last year with Kim Woojin and X:IN, is back for its second edition. This year, the festival will expand from Bengaluru to include Mumbai. Scheduled to celebrate K-Pop, Korean cuisine, and culture, the open-air festival will take place on October 18 in Mumbai and October 20 in Bengaluru, with venue details to be announced later. This has raised the bar, and with the entry of SM artist SUHO in India, fans can now expect other SM artists to visit India as well.
