EXO’s Kai has made a sensational return to the spotlight!
On April 21. Kai dropped his highly anticipated solo mini album ‘Wait On Me’, marking his first comeback in two years. To celebrate the release, he hosted a special showcase at 8 PM KST ( 4:30 PM IST) at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul. The event was livestreamed on EXO’s official YouTube channel, allowing fans across the globe to join the festivities in real-time.
During the showcase, Kai gave fans the first-ever live performance of his title track ‘Wait On Me’ along with a powerful stage for the b-side track ‘Adult Swim’, both of which were met with an enthusiastic response.
As of the morning of April 22, 2025, ‘Wait On Me’ had secured the No.1 spot on iTunes Top Albums charts in over 23 regions worldwide including Argentina, Brazil, Brunei, Fiji, France, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
The album also dominated China’s QQ Music digital album sales chart.
With fans cheering from all corners of the globe, Kai’s comeback is off to a phenomenal start, solidifying his status as a global icon.
