EXO’s Kai has officially begun his mandatory Military Service.
On May 11, Kai formally entered the military training centre for basic training before serving as Public Service Worker. EXO members Baekhyun, Sehun, Chanyeol, Suho, Chen, D.O, and Xiumin joined Kai in his new military buzzcut to send him off the military. Furthermore, Chanyeol also shared the photos with the caption “Don’t get hurt, and return safely!”

Kai along with his fans was surprised by the sudden news of his enlistment and the idol had expressed his regrets for not being able to prepare well for his fans. Kai had however arranged a free fan meet for the fans both offline and online, following the announcement.

EXO is scheduled to make a full group comeback to celebrate their 11th Debut Anniversary but due to his enlistment, Kai will not be part of it.
