EXO’s Chen is returning with new music!
On April 21 at 2 PM KST (10:30 AM IST), Chen’s agency, INB100, announced the release of his new digital single, ‘Broken Party’, with a teaser image.

The teaser image features Chen in a soft ivory sweater, gazing longingly as a black-and-white butterfly rests on his face. Creating a tranquil, almost timeless atmosphere, the visual perfectly reflects the introspective mood the track is expected to deliver.
Moreover, the warm-toned lighting and still frame suggest a moment frozen in time, further deepening anticipation for the song’s narrative.
‘Broken Party’ builds on a powerful pop band sound and delicately explores emotions of loneliness, yearning, and love. The song promises to be another moving chapter in Chen’s musical journey.
INB100 also released the promotion schedule for the single, along with additional teaser images. One image features a broken chandelier surrounded by balloons and confetti, while another highlights a room with a slept-in bed and a study table. Following these teasers, Chen is set to drop concept photos on April 22 and 24, followed by an MV teaser on April 26, ahead of the single’s official release.

Notably, this marks Chen’s first solo release in six months since ‘Beyond:’ came out in October 2024.
‘Broken Party’ will be available on all major streaming platforms on April 28 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
