EXO’s Chanyeol is making his first-ever solo comeback!
On August 4 at midnight KST, SM Entertainment announced Chanyeol’s second mini album, ‘Upside Down’. The agency first hinted at his comeback by opening EXO’s Instagram Broadcast channel, where they shared a series of upside-down pictures and messages, teasing the album title. The official announcement was accompanied by a teaser image featuring an animal silhouette filling the letters, with Chanyeol’s name written in a sharp font reminiscent of a classic ’90s rock album, building anticipation for the kind of sound he will deliver in ‘Upside Down’.

The album is set to include six tracks, led by the title track ‘Upside Down’, and is said to showcase a variety of moods, including songs with a strong band sound, heightening expectations among fans.
‘Upside Down’ marks Chanyeol’s first comeback in a year since his solo debut album, ‘Black Out’, released in August 2024.
Earlier this year, Chanyeol concluded his ‘2025 CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape)’ with encore concerts in Seoul. The tour took him across 11 cities in Asia. Additionally, he is set to embark on a Japan tour, ‘CHANYEOL JAPAN TOUR 2025 -The Days’, in October, with stops in Aichi, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Kanagawa.

Meanwhile, pre-orders for ‘Upside Down’ are now available at various online and offline music stores starting today.
‘Upside Down’ is set to be released on August 25 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
