After teasing fans with dramatic teaser, the 8-member boy group of E Entertainment is finally back with their 1st Single Album ‘Dark Dream.’ This is E’LAST‘s first comeback with all members as during their ‘Awake’ album, member Wonjun was unable to participate due to overlapping of schedules.
While ‘Day Dream,’ dealt with the beginning of the storyline/conflict, ‘Awake’ continued the theme of awakening and ‘Dark Dream’ continues to tell the story but this time about being drawn to someone, wanting to be with them and not being able to.
The single comeback album titled, ‘Dark Dream’ is also the name of the title MV and along with it, it includes ‘Muse,’ a song based on trap style hip-hop sounds inspired from the ‘90s R&B sound, and ‘To.Lie,’ a fresh teen pop which combines electronic synth reminiscence of the 90’s again while bringing a cheerful music.
The ‘Day Dream’ comeback shows the members in a new light and concept as it not only combines the princely vibes and dramatic settings but it also brings about their mature side with orchestral music.
In the MV, E’LAST members sing about their fate of not being able to be with someone they want to. The members exhale princely vibes with their clothing and is tied together by red strings of fate. ‘Dark Dream’ also exhibits powerful rap verses from the rappers of the group.
