DRIPPIN’s Hwang Yunseong will begin his mandatory military service.
On March 5, Woollim Entertainment announced that Hwang Yunseong will enlist as an active duty soldier on March 24. In the official announcement, the company extended its gratitude to all the fans for supporting Hwang Yunseong and DRIPPIN.

Hwang Yunseong’s enlistment marks a significant moment in the group’s journey, as DRIPPIN is expected to continue with the remaining members focusing on activities and projects.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the fans who have continuously shown their love and support for DRIPPIN. We would like to provide an official announcement regarding the military enlistment of DRIPPIN member, HWANG YUNSEONG.
HWANG YUNSEONG is set to enlist in active-duty military service on March 24 in fulfillment of his mandatory duty to the nation.
As the recruit training center entrance ceremony is an occasion attended by numerous service members and their families, no official event will be held to prevent congestion and ensure safety at the site. Therefore, we kindly request that fans refrain from visiting the location.
We sincerely ask for your warm encouragement and support for HWANG YUNSEONG as he faithfully fulfills his military duty and returns in good health.

DRIPPIN is a six-member boy group that includes Hwang Yunseong. They debuted in 2020 and have released a series of successful albums, including one full-length album, three mini-albums, and four singles. Their most recent single, ‘Weekend,’ was released in August 2024.
With his upcoming enlistment, Hwang Yunseong, who is also the leader of the group, will become the first member to begin military service.
