DreamNote’s Youi will take a break from group activities following her father’s demise.
On February 24, DreamNote’s agency, iMe KOREA, released a statement announcing that the group’s leader, Youi, will temporarily step back from all activities due to the tragic loss of her father. The statement revealed that her father passed away on February 22 and shared, “Currently, Youi is with her family, mourning and honoring the memory of the deceased, and the funeral will be held quietly with close family and relatives. As a result, Youi will not be able to participate in DreamNote’s scheduled activities for the time being.”

Youi debuted as a member of the group DreamNote in 2018 with their first single album ‘Dreamlike.’ The group’s latest release was their digital single ‘Joyful Green,’ which came out in October 2024 in Japanese and Korean versions.
