Drama Review: ‘Check out the Event’

‘Check out the Event’ also known as ‘이벤트를 확인하세요’, ‘Please Check The Event’, ‘Check Your Event’ stars Bang Min-ah, Kwon Hwa-Woon, and An Woo-Yeon. The drama aired from 14 August – September 4, 2021 and consists of 4 episodes.

Plot Summary

 

Ha Song Yi (Bang Min-ah) is a woman with confidence, frankness about her feelings, and youthful charm. She works as a botanical garden coordinator and passionately believes her mother’s words that people are capable of betrayal but not plants. She finds herself struggling after breaking up with her boyfriend.

Park Do Kyum (Kwon Hwa-Woon), the leader and vocalist of an indie band. While he seems haughty and feisty, he has a romantic side that comes out during the most important moments. He is the boyfriend of Song Yi but breaks up with her. ‘Check the out Event’ reflects the touching look that will unfold when they love each other but they can’t say it. When two ex-lovers pretend to be together to head on a couple’s trip they won at an event when they were couples.

Song Yi continuously tries to win Do Kyum’s heart back but keeps failing. On the trip, she meets Seo Ji Gang(An Woo-Yeon), an essay writer who chooses to be a travel guide for couples to observe them for his writing. As he gradually develops feelings for Ha Song Yi.

These 3 roles will portray an unpredictable love triangle with some other love stories of different ages of love. Whatever happens, if you love someone, you can be apart from them for some huge reasons but fate will let you meet again and fall for each other more deeply. Song Yi finds out the reason for her breakup and decided to end that so-called relationship by saying the reason for the breakup will be whatever bit the real reason is that I was trying to keep that relationship where you were trying to break it.

One year passed everyone was back on their part, where Seo Ji’s book got published he still tries to be more than a friend with Song Yi but she rejected him again, where Song Yi went on the Single trip and met Do Kyum and they fall for each other more.

She has a bright and honest personality. She works as a coordinator of a botanical garden. Her boyfriend was Park Do Kyum but he broke up with her.

He is an essay writer and becomes a guide for the couple’s trip. There, he meets Ha Song-Yi and becomes attracted to her. Will the guide turn to a lover or ?

We love stories with some spices on them. We love how their love is going to turn, will there be a second lead happy ending?
