DAY6 is back with their heartfelt new digital single!
On May 7 at 6:00 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), DAY6 made a powerful return with their latest digital single ‘Maybe Tomorrow.’ The single delivers a heartfelt message, wrapped in the band’s signature, emotionally charged sound.
The title track, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, is a pop-rock song with a light, spring-like sound. It features lively drum beats, smooth guitar melodies, and strong vocals. The lyrics explore the difficulty of moving on when nothing seems to change, while offering hope that things will improve. ‘Tomorrow’ represents the belief that pain can fade and peace or happiness will come. The music video enhances the song’s atmosphere, featuring dreamy, starry scenes with magical imagery that aligns with the song’s emotions.
The single also includes the B-side track ‘game over’, a rock song about the end of a fading relationship. The lyrics reflect on how things gradually fell apart, highlighting unreciprocated love and the painful realization that it’s truly over, conveyed through the members’ vocals.
‘Maybe Tomorrow’ marks their first new music in eight months since the release of their mini-album ‘Band Aid’ in September 2024. Members SUNGJIN, WONPIL, and Young K are credited for the lyrics.
Meanwhile, DAY6 is set to wrap up their 3rd world tour ‘FOREVER YOUNG’ with six sold-out shows at Seoul’s KSPO DOME on May 9 to 11 and May 16 to 18. The final concert on May 18 will be livestreamed globally through Beyond LIVE, letting fans worldwide join the celebration.
‘Maybe Tomorrow’ speaks straight to the heart, gentle yet powerful, offering comfort to anyone feeling lost or unsure. It reminds listeners that even in hard times, it’s okay to hope for better days ahead.
