Singer-songwriter JUNNY kicked off his much-awaited 2023 ‘BLANC’ European tour starting with an epic show in London, on the 12th of March.
After his successful ‘phase two’ shows in the United States, accompanied by DJ Min Jeong, JUNNY is all set for his European leg consisting of 13 different tour destinations in the continent, making him the first Korean soloist to achieve this coup. He will be visiting Denmark, Norway, Germany, Italy, France, and more to meet his ‘Junniverse!’ (Official fandom name)
JUNNY Becomes the First Korea-Based Soloist to Tour 13 European Countries
JUNNY is a Korean-Canadian artist under Mauve Company and is currently based in South Korea. Although he is known for R&B and soul genres, he has displayed his musical versatility through a number of tracks. He debuted in 2017 with the EP ‘Monochrome’ and has so far released five EPs, one studio album, a number of amazing singles both solo and collaborative, and OSTs you can dish on.
We got to attend the London concert and we were left wanting for more! And I am here to tell you why you need to experience a Junny concert!
Concert Location: Lafayette
We couldn’t ask for a better venue than London’s new venue the Lafayette at King’s Cross. Apart from the really kind staff and aesthetically pleasing interior, one of the things we loved about Lafayette is that no matter where you stand, you get a great view of the performer!
The pre-sale tickets for VIP Meet and Greet and Early Access/ General Admission were available on Modo-Live and Unbound Entertainment.
Time:
VIP – 5:30PM
Early Access/General Admission: 7:30PM
The show began around 8:00PM – 8:30PM with two engaging opening acts.
The Acts:
Fresh-to-the-scene, London based artist Lando opened for JUNNY, teaming up with DJ Kyza Lexis for some really groovy tunes! We recommend watching him live to anyone looking for gigs in London for a chill weekend with friends and partners. Dancer and DJ Min Jeong knew exactly how to capture her audience. She’s one of the best K-Pop DJs I’ve seen live and danced to!

The Experience:
Everything about this concert was lovely, starting from the sweet fans we met while queueing since morning, the beautiful venue, and of course JUNNY. ‘Beautiful’ is THE word to describe him, be it his face, vocals, or manner. After watching him live, I can safely say that he is one of the sweetest and most genuine artists you could meet.
JUNNY puts up an entertaining concert and the best thing is that you will thoroughly enjoy the show, even if you’re not aware of his songs. The artist has an amazing stage presence and is super interactive with his audience throughout the concert. Many lucky fans even got selfies with him! London fans were also lucky to watch him perform the track ‘Optimist’ one day before its release!
Another fan interaction that I must mention is the amount of time he spent with fans after the concert. JUNNY spent a solid 10-13 minutes signing and clicking photos with a number of fans and he looked grateful and happy for his Junniverse.
Watching this delightful scene and the happy faces of so many people was all I needed. That’s when I knew that this was going to be a very important memory for my team and for all the fans who attended the concert. On a personal note, it reminded me of why I’m doing what I’m doing now. I guess that’s the power of live music and the impact of genuine artist-fan relationships!

The whole experience of attending JUNNY’s concert made me content and I hope we get to watch him perform in India someday. Wishing JUNNY and Min Jeong an amazing tour ahead!
