CIX Bring the ‘THUNDER’ With Their 7th EP, ‘THUNDER FEVER’

CIX dropped their latest EP, ‘THUNDER FEVER,’ and the music video of its title track ‘THUNDER.’

On January 23, K-Pop group CIX released their first album of 2025, ‘THUNDER FEVER,’ which includes three new tracks—’Bad Moves,’ ‘THUNDER,’ and ‘My Everlasting Sun,’ and new versions of their previously released tracks ‘Lovers or Enemies’ and ‘My name is shadow’.

Much like thunder and lightning, the album ‘THUNDER FEVER’ also embodies the suddenness of such natural phenomena, as well as the fear and anxiety that accompany such situations. The title track, ‘THUNDER,’ is an electronic pop song that highlights CIX’s signature rhythmic style, featuring a striking dance break. The track captures the chaotic emotions and thrilling sensations of love, likening them to the intensity of thunder and lightning, delivering a high-energy and dynamic listening experience. The album’s narrative begins with a stormy and tumultuous tone, reflecting inner struggles and anxieties, and gradually transitions to a brighter, more comforting conclusion with ‘My Everlasting Sun.’ This closing track symbolizes the bond between CIX and their fans, FIX, portraying them as mutual sources of light who dispel fear and remain together, offering a sense of warmth and reassurance.

CIX is a South Korean K-Pop under C9 Entertainment. They made their debut in 2019 with their EP, ‘HELLO Chapter 1. Hello, Stranger’. Their name stands for “Complete in X,” where each of the members’ uncertainties come together to become complete as one. The group consists of BX, SEUNGHUN, YONGHEE, and HYUNSUK.
