C9 Entertainment‘s girl group, cignature, is all set to make a comeback in June.
On May 28, cignature started dropping the first set of concept photos for their upcoming 5th EP ‘Sweet but Saltie‘. Over the week, they released another set of concept photos. The concept photos give refreshing summer vibes raising the anticipation for this comeback. While the photos for Concept A had the girls lying down with colorful phones in hand, the Concept B photos had the girls posing with fishbowls, exuding a tranquil and angelic atmosphere. The third concept photos were set outdoors in a stadium with all the members wearing athletic clothes.
‘Sweetie but Saltie’ is cignature’s first new album in 10 months since the release of the EP ‘Us in the Summer‘ in August 2023. ‘Sweetie but Saltie’ is a wordplay on the duality and ambiguous nature of relationships. ‘Sweetie but Saltie‘ is set to release on June 10 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
cignature is a seven-member girl group comprising Chaesol, Jeewon, Seline, Chloe, Belle, Semi, and Dohee. Belle is currently inactive in the group since her participation in the survival reality show ‘Universe Ticket’ and subsequent debut in the group, UNIS. The group debuted in February 2020 with the single ‘Nun Nu Nan Na‘.
