ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo is set to star in the upcoming comedy film ‘First Ride’!
On April 3, a media outlet reported that actor and singer Cha Eun Woo has officially joined the cast of the new comedy film ‘First Ride’ (working title).
Cha Eun Woo’s agency, Fantagio, confirmed the news, stating, “Cha Eun Woo recently finalized his decision to star in the film ‘First Ride,’ for which he received a casting offer. We sincerely thank everyone for their interest and love for our artist Cha Eun Woo, and we ask for your continued support in the future.” The film marks Cha Eun Woo’s first lead role in a movie, generating excitement among fans.
‘First Ride’ follows the story of four long-time friends who, upon turning 30, decide to take their first overseas trip together, resulting in a series of amusing and meaningful events. The film is set to explore themes of friendship and self-discovery.
Previously, reports stated that actor Kang Ha Neul is in talks to join ‘First Ride’ as one of the four friends.
Currently, Cha Eun Woo is filming the Netflix comedy series ‘The WONDERfools’ alongside Park Eun Bin, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Dae Hoon, and Im Sung Jae, further expanding his acting portfolio.
