Alternative Korean pop-rock band CATCH THE YOUNG recently performed at the 2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, setting the stage ablaze with their youthful energy. Marking their second consecutive appearance at Korea’s premier rock festival, the band reaffirmed their status as a rising group with a powerful live presence.
The festival was held from August 1 to 3 at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, South Korea, with CATCH THE YOUNG taking the stage on Day 1. They opened their set with their latest single, ‘Ideal Type’, blending retro-inspired rock riffs with playful synthesizer lines. Drawing the crowd into their performance with lively sing-alongs, they set the tone for the rest of the show.
Their set also featured tracks like ‘My Own Way’ and ‘Talking To Myself’, which highlighted the band’s emotional range and sonic versatility. Meanwhile, performances of ‘Dream It’ and ‘The Legend’ showcased their storytelling-driven sound and tight musical cohesion. Notably, their rendition of Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ brought the energy to an all-time high, as CATCH THE YOUNG added their own playful flair to the iconic song. They closed with their debut track, ‘YOUTH’, much to the fans’ delight, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of their journey so far.
CATCH THE YOUNG’s appearance at the 2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival underscored their growing stage presence and evolving artistry, establishing them as a band that lets their music and message speak for themselves. Following their standout set at Pentaport, CATCH THE YOUNG will continue performing across major stages, including the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF) later this month and the Sound Planet Festival in September. Moving between campus festivals, solo concerts, and busking, the band continues to build its identity as a group of young people who are not only emotional and sincere but also full of life.

CATCH THE YOUNG is a South Korean alternative pop-rock boy band under Evermore Entertainment that debuted on November 1, 2023, with their first mini album, ‘Catch The Young : Fragments of Youth’. The group comprises five members: Sani, Kihoon, Namhyun, Junyong, and Jungmo. The band calls its music genre ‘Youth Pop-Rock,’ encapsulating the core topic of youth and the band’s strength in harmony, multi-vocal, and performance skills. In less than a year since their debut, they performed at the biggest music festivals in Korea, including the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival and Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival in 2024, which they’ll perform for the second time in a row in 2025.
