BTS’s j-hope Ties Jungkook’s Record on the U.K. Singles Chart with ‘MONA LISA’.
On March 29, the Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that j-hope’s latest digital single, ‘MONA LISA’, debuted at No. 56 on the Official Singles Chart. This marks his third charting single of the year and seventh solo entry overall, joining previous hits like ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’, ‘MORE’, ‘on the street’, ‘NEURON’, ‘LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams)”’, and ‘Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)’.
Earlier, MONA LISA had secured the No.1 spot on the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart this week.
With this latest achievement, j-hope has now tied with his bandmate Jungkook for the most entries on the Official Singles Chart by a K-pop soloist.
