On August 18, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced that V will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the upcoming game on Sunday, August 25. They shared this news on their social media with a caption: “ARMY, you ready? V will be at Dodger Stadium on 8/25 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch!”

The game between the Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM PT (August 26 at 7:40 AM IST) at Dodger Stadium, with V stepping onto the mound just before play begins.
V’s participation adds a unique cultural moment to the Dodgers’ schedule, as he becomes one of the few Korean artists to take part in this long-standing Major League Baseball tradition.
