BTS hits another major milestone with new RIAA certifications!
On June 24, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that BTS has received nine new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), further proving their massive impact on the U.S. music scene. Four of their hits, ‘Run,’ ‘Blood Sweat & Tears,’ ‘DNA,’ and ‘Fake Love’ have been officially certified Platinum, meaning each has sold over 1 million units in the U.S.

With these latest awards, BTS now holds 13 Platinum certifications, more than any other K-pop act, breaking their own record once again.
It doesn’t stop there. Jimin’s solo track ‘Like Crazy’ from his debut album ‘FACE’ and Jungkook’s ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ also earned Platinum status, highlighting the strong global presence of BTS’ individual members.
Last year, BTS’ mega-hit ‘Dynamite’ was certified 5x Platinum, placing it alongside PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ as the only Korean song to achieve that milestone.
Additionally, the group also picked up five new Gold certifications for ‘Save ME,’ ‘Spring Day,’ ‘ON,’ ‘Black Swan,’ and ‘Permission to Dance,’ each surpassing 500,000 units sold. This brings their total number of Gold-certified tracks to 20.
RIAA certifications are based on U.S. digital sales and streaming, with Gold awarded at 500,000 units, Platinum at 1 million, Multi-Platinum at 2 million, and Diamond at 10 million.
Huge congratulations to BTS on another incredible achievement!
