BTS’ RM Wins Big at the Shark Music Video Awards.
On May 24, RM of BTS earned major recognition at the 63rd Shark Music Video Awards, taking home three trophies for the music video of his second studio album’s title track, ‘LOST!’. The video was awarded Best Music Video (Grand Prix), Best R&B/Soul Video, and Best Direction at the ceremony held in London on May 22 (local time).

Released in May 2024, ‘LOST!’ humorously portrays RM’s inner struggle as he attempts to navigate a maze of thoughts. The video drew widespread attention for its surreal direction, featuring objects that shift unpredictably in size and space, creating a dreamlike visual narrative.
In addition to RM’s solo achievement, ‘Neva Play’, a track by American rapper Megan Thee Stallion featuring RM, also claimed victory in the Best Animation category, highlighting the BTS leader’s continued global influence in cross-genre collaborations.
The Shark Awards, now in its 63rd year, is the world’s longest-running creative festival, recognizing excellence in advertising, design, short films, and music videos.
This isn’t the first time ‘LOST!’ has been recognized for its artistic direction. The music video previously swept four categories at Germany’s Sislov Festival, including Music Video Direction and Cinematography. It also won accolades at the UK Music Video Awards and British Arrow Awards.
