BTS’ RM (Kim Namjoon) celebrated his birthday by making meaningful donations!
On September 12, RM celebrated his birthday by donating 100 million won each to Seoul Asan Medical Center and Korea University Medical Center, totaling 200 million won (approximately $144,000).
RM shared, “I decided to donate because I wanted to participate in a meaningful cause for my birthday. I hope that [this donation] will be of even the slightest help to patients who need treatment but are struggling financially”.
Seoul Asan Medical Center plans to use the funds to help low-income patients with the costs of surgery and treatment, while Korea University Medical Center will use this donation to concentrate on improving medical facilities and expanding medical services.
RM’s birthday donation highlights his compassion and strong sense of social responsibility, continuing to inspire both fans and the broader public.
