BTS’ Jungkook has made a generous donation of 1 Billion Won (~7,58,061.00 USD) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital.
On April 18, Seoul National University Children Hospital shared that Jungkook has donated 1 billion won to help sick children and their families. The donation will be used for the treatment of children from low- income families suffering severe, rare and incurable diseases, childhood cancer and leukemia along with ‘Integrated Care Centre Project’ that actively supports patients and their families with teaching, education, counselling, support therapies, healing and special activity programs.
Through SNU Hospital, Jungkook shared a message stating, “I hope that it will be of some help to children who are suffering and I support them so that they can smile healthily.”
Choi Eun-hwa, Director of Seoul National University Children’s Hospital expressed his gratitude, “Caring for a child’s health is like determining the child’s life, so sponsorship is an investment in the future and hope, and it is a gift of relief and peace to tired families. All members of the Children’s Hospital will do their best to bring the children back home, school, and family and friends in good health.”
BTS’ members have time and again stepped forward in making contributions towards the society and this time, it’s Jungkook.
