BTS’ Jimin, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, and LE SSERAFIM Win Big at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards

The 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards, held on November 10, was a thrilling night for K-Pop fans. BTS’ Jimin, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, and LE SSERAFIM each took home prestigious awards. Their wins underscored the massive impact of K-Pop on a global scale and the unwavering support from fans worldwide.

Jimin of BTS clinched the award for ‘Best K-Pop’ with his hit song ‘Who’ from his solo album ‘MUSE’. His win marks a significant milestone in his solo journey, and it’s the second consecutive year a BTS member has taken this award, following Jungkook’s victory in 2023. ‘MUSE’ has seen impressive global success since July, with ‘Who’ ranking steadily on the U.S. Billboard and UK Official Charts. The track recently hit 4th place on Spotify’s Global Top Songs for November 1-7, showing the growing reach of Jimin’s solo music.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa was also a double winner, taking home ‘Best Collaboration’ for her track ‘New Woman’ featuring Rosalía, and the fan-voted ‘Biggest Fans’ award. Lisa’s wins underscore her solo impact and the dedication of BLACKPINK’s global fanbase. Her collaboration with Rosalía has captivated audiences, further solidifying her status as an international artist. MTV EMA acknowledged her wins, sharing the news with her extensive online following.
